Me and my dad use to come here when I was younger and loved the place, we stared coming back recently and it’s still fantastic. The family that run the place are lovely and the food is excellent. Very clean and tidy in there and is very open. You can also see your food being prepared, which is also really nice. Thanks guys, keep up the hard work!

Very good cafe, I had breakfast, regular for £6.50 all included! Basic but VGVFM! Listening to other customers it seems everything is customisable to suit your taste? With the sarnies they actually ask if you want salad cream or mayo! Excellent, well worth the visit!

I highly recommend this place. If you're looking for a quick bite nothing too fancy, but still tastes and feels like home then this is the place for ya. Forgot to mention the polite staff who'll greet you with a lovely smile the moment you walk in through the door. Bacon sandwiches are fab, fully customisable.

The best breakfasts in Tyseley and Birmingham tbh, food was beautiful, I had a cheese toasty today, yesterday a 3 egg vegetarian cheese omelette, my fellow work mate had a breakfast and yesterday also an omelette and we were very impressed, value for money, staff welcoming and friendly and the cafe was spotlessly clean, excellent all round thank you

James Road cafe is the best of the best. I am yet to find one as good as this cafe. My husband and son passing by seen this cafe, and had some bacon sandwiches , they found it so good, and I was interduced, and now I can't stop going there. Its going from home to home. The breakfast, friendly staff and the place is excellent, its homely to. Excellent service, and the food is always presented well. would recommend this cafe highly. I go here every Saturday with my daughters for our weekly fry up and it never disappionts,the food is top quality an the staff very friendly,can't recommend it enough,get yourselves down there
